Update: Student Shot At Roseburg High School
Student Suspect In Custody






ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A student is in custody after allegedly shooting another student Thursday morning at Roseburg High School.

mapAn administrator at the school confirmed the shooting, which happened about 7:45 a.m.

The victim was taken to Mercy Medical Center with unknown injuries.

The gunman fled the scene but was cornered by police nearby, near Charley's BBQ on West Harvard Avenue. During a short standoff, the suspect held a gun to his head but was taken into custody without further incident.

Roseburg High School and a nearby elementary school were locked down as a precaution.

Parents and community members were urged to stay away from the schools. Students will be released when police determine that the lockdowns can be lifted. High school buses will run their regular routes at that time, according to The News-Review newspaper in Roseburg.

Police planned to hold a news conference at 10 a.m.

I have been sick for about three days ..going on four...yesterday i had a temp of 102.8 and tonight i do as well ..drinking cold water trying to keep it down...but indeed rest is needed...
so i will hopefully comment on work of yours and comment everyone back as soon as possible...
